Default Let me set default folder to display by Windows Explorer

I know Windows Explorer is not MS Office, but maybe someone at MS will
forward this suggestion to the right place.

It's unlikely your "suggestion" will be considered, much less implemented,
unless someone can understand what you're suggesting. I think you need to
include more detail on what you're asking for.

I would like the Windows Explorer, and especially, the FILE FINDER function
which is a pop up choice when I right click the start button, to let me set
the default folder for display or search when I invoke these functions. I
use FILE FINDER many times each day, but the FILE FINDER defaults to ..
\STARTM~1 which is never used for anything that I know about. If I could
not set the default search folder, at least maybe it could always default to
search from ..\My Documents instead of \STARTM~1 which has no use that I know
of.

Instead of using Start | Search | For Files or Folders, start your search
from within Windows Explorer, using the Search button on the toolbar. When
you do this, Windows searches in whatever folder you currently have open.
You can put a shortcut to any folder in Windows on your desktop or open
Windows Explorer with WinKey+E and navigate to the desired folder.
