Hello,
A user I support requires a Continuous Section Break on a page which displays the continuing portion of a footnote from the page above. When the CSB is inserted, it appears to behave as if it is a Next Page SB, i.e. everything beneath it goes to the following page (the third page of this example). As soon as the footnote content is made short enought not to continue onto a second page, the CSB behaves as desired. Is this because it's not possible in Word for a footnote to continue into a new section? Is there a setting that would allow this or any way to force it to happen? Thanks, Will Crosby |

Thanks very much. While this does allow a few lines to behave as desired, the
footnote continuation still inserts itself inexplicably half way up the second page, forcing content to the following page when there is no formatting to warrant it. Do you have further advice? Thank you again.
