Default page setup is in points, not inches

all of a sudden when I do a page setup in Word, it doesn't show in inches,
but in points.

Default page setup is in points, not inches

Select Tools Options General tab. In "Measurement units", select Inches
and click OK.

The setting is used for measurements you enter in dialog boxes and for the
Word rulers.
