Hi ?B?TXVsZXM=?=,

I would like to access an Excel or a Word document from within a Protected
Form/Template. Once I Protect a form I loose access to all Embeded documents!

Embedded OLE objects (Excel workbook, for example) remain accessible if inserted
into an unprotected section. You can insert continuous section breaks before and
after embedded objects, then choose to leave these sections unprotected. If you
don't see where to do that, tell us which version of Word you're using.

On that same note - why when I have a protected Template - w/out the Table of
Contents protected (unprotected section) can I not update the template?
