Default Installing Office 2000 on Windows XP Media Center Edition

My computer came with a 90 day trial of Office 2003 and I didn't want to pay
for the new software when it expired because I have Office 2000 which works
find for my situation. However it won't load Microsoft Word. Any ideas?

Did you uninstall the trial (Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove
Programs) before installing Office 2000?

If that doesn't help, I'd try to find a forum for Windows XP Media
Center Edition.
