cross references
Is it possble to use a cross reference without protecting the document? If so
how? Please Help I'm trying to create a document that can be edited while also being able to enter a name once and have it populate multiple fields. |

cross references
What Word version and OP?
I believe you can not add cross referencing when the document is protected. Are you talking about Form Fields? Have a look at: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm Hope this helps. cross references
Cross-references to bookmarks are a bit more difficult in unprotected
documents (that is, when not using form fields, which have built-in bookmarks) because bookmarks can be rather fragile. But there are other approaches; see http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "Woodchuck" wrote in message ...
