More than one reference to a footnote
Is it possible to make a reference to a single footnote more than once?
For example: This is my text(1) this is my text this is my text(1) -------------------- (1) This is the footnote |

Well, you can insert a cross-reference to an existing footnote: Insert
| Reference | Cross-reference, for "Reference type," choose "Footnote" and, for "Insert reference to," choose "Footnote number." You will have to format the cross-reference as superscript to make it look like a footnote. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Jorge" wrote in message ... True. I wonder where that option was hiding yesterday, when I was
looking in the Cross-reference dialog box? g -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote in message ... Way down at the bottom. And I don't think its purpose is intuitively
obvious, either. -- Suzanne S. Well, "Footnote number (formatted as footnote reference)" would be a
better description (but too long, of course). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote in message ... Way down at the bottom.
