Merge introduces 0 instead of house number
I've got a large mailing list in Excel which I filter in order to print
labels. I create new excel documents then use them to print labels in Word. With a small number of entries, when I try to print the labels, some of the addresses suffer from the house number being replaced by a zero (0). There seems to be no pattern. I've tried refomatting the list in Excel as plain text, cutting and pasting the text only into a new document, re-typing new entries. The house number and street name are in different columns in Excel. When I filter by some criteria, when I merge into Word, I could have four addresses on the same street and a few labels end up printing "0 Some Street". For example: 12 Some St 34 Some St Rose Cottage, 42 Some St Apple House, 50 Some St could print as: 12 Some St 0 Some St Rose Cottage, 42 Some St 0 Some St I can see no pattern, nor can I work out what's causing it. Any ideas? Thanks. |
