Default How do I lock down text positions in Word when I'm creating a form

I've changed the properties of the fill-in to limited from unlimited but
nothing seems to work.

I have two fields on one line, separated with tabs. When I complete the
first fill-in, the second field moves to the right.

Please help.

Thanks.

Have you created specific tab stops for the field positions? If that doesn't
work, use a table instead.
