Open the normal.dot file (located in the template directory), have the header
/ footer boxes showing and then save it. -- YvonneJ "Mark" wrote: I want to always open every new document with the normal.dot template and have it show header and footer boxes. How is that accomplished? |

You will need to (a) be in Print Layout view and (b) have "White space"
checked on the View tab of Tools | Options. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/SaveViewAndZoom.htm -- Suzanne S.
