How do I reduce size of File open dialogue window - it fills whol.
When I Select "Open" from the File menu, the open File dialogue window fills
my whole screen. I cannot resize the window - there is no Maximize / Reduce Down button, nor a minimize buton on the window title bar - only the Close button and a question mark Button. (Same problem in Excel.) The window used to be smaller and I could resize the window. |

If it's about Word 2007, he's right: when you press Open button, the dialog
box is about 17.5 cm x 11 cm; the dialog box has the right-bottom corner suggesting you can resize the window, but you cannot do this. Double-click switch from the original size to maximized and viceversa, but you can't resize the Open dialog box window. I tried with ALT+Spacebar, I can access the Size command, but you still cannot resize the Open dialog box. John Sandu "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Double-click the title bar. -- Suzanne S. Send a frownie if this bothers you (it would me), and if it has the stripes
indicating it should be resizable, its not being is definitely a bug. -- Suzanne S. That did the trick - thanks Suzanne; I thought I had tried everything, but
not that. "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Double-click the title bar. -- Suzanne S.
