sidcliffe,

Place your insertion pointer at the point in the document where you want to
delete, scroll down to then end point (without clicking on the document) and
then hold the Shift key down and click. All between the two point will be
selected. Press the Delete key.

If you have manual page breaks in your document, you may end up with blank
pages if you only delete the text. To ensure no blank pages, switch to normal
view. Page breaks will become visible. When you select the text to be
deleted, include ONE page break with the text for every page you want to
delete.

Thanks to you all, a great help,
I imagined that there was a way by selecting the page numbers shown at
the bottom left of the screen.

Thanks again
sidcliffe
