Why does a virus scan run when I first open WORD 2003?
Recently, I noticed WORD was terribly slow opening - then I noticed a message
at the bottom that said "Running Virus Scan." Did I cause that? |

Well, yes and no. Your antivirus is doing that and you haven't made any
