Header & Footers
I am prepaing one document, it contains 10 chapters, every chapter a new page
& for every chapteri have given a name. Now i wanted to give respective chapter name in Footer. Is it possible ? (other wise i have to split the documents into 10 files). |

Header & Footers
Use a STYLEREF field in the footer to repeat the chapter title in the
footer; this will work if a particular paragraph or character style has been used to format the chapter titles. Alternatively, separate each chapter by a section break, and unlink the footers. it's working. Thank u sir,
i have another dought. if suppose i have changed any respective chapter name. Then the footer(where i have mentioned respective chapter name) will change automatically ? or manual i have to change ? With a STYLEREF field, the updating would be automatic, yes.
