Default Allighment to plus-or-minus symbol in a table

Does anyone know how to set up a table so that the mean plus-or-minus sem or
sd values in cells in a column will allign to the plus-or minus symbols? I am
using Word 2002.

Would it suffice to align figures to an (imaginary) decimal point? You can
do that with a decimal tab.
