Hi ?B?U2ltb24=?=,
I have a word document which i want to allow certain sections to be editable, this i can do by un-ticking selected sections and protecting......this works ok. I now what to add an organisation chart which is editable when the document is protected, if i put a section break before and after the chart and unselect this section from protection, when i protect the document i can't edit the Org Chart. The problem is that organisation charts in the most recent versions of Word are created using the Office Drawing tools, and reside in the documents "drawing layer". And this layer is totally locked out in a protected document. No chance. Closest you could get would be creating it in an outside document then copy/paste the finished chart into an unprotected section.
