Default Repeated Even pages

This scenario should never happen in MS word 2007, but it does.

Mirrored pages, different headers for odd and even pages.

Page 1
Text
Continuous Section Break
Page break
Footer: Odd page Footer - Section 1
Page number: 1

Page 2
Text
Continuous Section Break
Page break
Footer: Even page Footer - Section 2
Page number: 2 (First problem: Cannot make it start as "1")

Page 3
Text
Continuous Section Break
Page break
Footer: Even page Footer - Section 3 (Second problem: It should be "Odd")
Page number: 2 (Third problem: Cannot make it start as "1" either)

Problem 1: The number at which the page

Can anyone solve this riddle?

Thanks!

Sorry about the duplicated postings, but the original posting took so long to
show up that I though I had not send it. We can continue on the previous one,
then. Thanx.

Yes, it does sometimes take an age to appear. Other times (such as when I
first go on line early in the morning UK time), it is almost instant.
