Default Another form field question

In a Word table with three columns labeled "Time In," Time Out," and "Total
Time," what fomulas would yield (in hours and minutes) the time elapsed?

I've tried doing this in Excel and Word and can't get either to work. In
the past I've been able to get Excel formulas to work in Word but somehow
nothing I do produces anything except a syntax error.

Thank you for all of your help!

Hi Island Girl,

Time calculations are quite easy in Excel, but are much more complicated in Word. To see how to time calculations (and just about
everything else you might want to do with dates) in Word, check out my Word Date Calculation Tutorial, at:
http://lounge.windowssecrets.com/ind...owtopic=249902
or
http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm#Third_party
In particular, look at the item titled 'Add Or Subtract Two Time Periods'. Do read the document's introductory material.
