There have been a number of reports of odd behavior of pictures in book fold
in Word 2007. Is the picture inline or wrapped (I'm assuming the latter)?

Thanks for the reply.
I have two pictures one is behind the text and the other is wrapped.
I have tried altering the link to page or to margin in its format placing.
I'm not sure how to move from here. It is a format theat I use a lot.
Paul.

"Behind text" is a form of wrapping (it's not In LIne With Text), so it
would have the same problem. All I can suggest is just to be very sure that
(regardless of how the position is specified) the pictures are anchored to
paragraphs on the page where they should appear, but this does appear to be
a bug in recent versions.

I havw found a vague work around, but its its not really satisfactory. If you
choose
bookfold from Margins in page setup and then Postion from the Page Layout
tab and then more layout options - picture position tab - Horizontal absolute
position and tehn image measure where the image would occur if placed on an
A4 page without reformatting for A5 (Booklet printing produces two a5 pages
on and a4 sheet). It needs to relative to the page not margin. It is a bit of
a guessing game and the there will be no formatting/word wrap. So yhou need
to leave a blank space into which the picutre may end up. However when you
caome back to edit the page the pciture will have moved of the page and
cannot be found. It will however print in the correct place. You will
probably need to experiment - print the page undo the page layout and redo
the edit each time.(This is a clear as mud but it works)

How do I make comment on this bug to the correct people? or do you pass it on?

Default Book fold and pictures

Hi,
I regularly update office and there is no real improvement. Something has
changed but It still does not work. I've now discovered that in a four page
booklet page 1 prints on top of page 4.
I haven't figured this one out yet.
It must have soemthing to do with the pictures and the way word places them
on a print page, but ...
