Default Proteced Form with Mail Merge Section-Mail Merge is "lost" whe

I also have the same problem. I have a master document to be mail merged
that needs to be protected so contents are not changed inadevertently by the
user. However, the "Protect Document" option disables the toolbar in all
sections, even if I add a section that does not require protection.

Hi ?B?S0NEb25l?=,

I have a Form with Protection assigned to some sections. The Mail Merge
Section is not protected. When I protect the form, the Mail Merge options no
longer are available. Is there a solution?

Depends. Can you go into more detail about the purpose of this document: what
the form is for, and the mail merge? Also, which version of Word?
