Default how do i make a correctionusing the tracking device?

i would like to be familiar on correcting a medical record (im studing for
maa) and i know you have to use the tracking device but, i don' know how it
works? please help!

What do you mean by "the tracking device"? Do you mean track changes -
the feature of Word that tracks when edits are made to a document? What
version of Word are you using?
