How do I save multiple scanned pages(from hp scanner) to 'word' as
consecutive pages in one document. At present they save as one page on top of
the other

Default save from scanner

How are you scanning them?

As pictures? Set tools options edit to insert pictures in line with text
and insert the pages individually.

Into Document Imaging? This function provides rudimentary OCR capability,
but there will be a lot of manual editing required.

Into Document Scanning? This produces multi-page TIFF files which cannot be
inserted into Word. They can be read by Document Imaging and....

OCR software? Capabilities of OCR software vary enormously.

The simplest way to get round your problems are to use the first or last
options above or simply use the software that came with your scanner to
produce individual image files one per page, which you can insert into Word.
