Default How to insert a footnote in captions

Hi,

Can one insert footnote in a caption? The footnote command is blanked out
when I am in caption.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What do you mean by "in caption"? If you insert the caption, then put the
cursor at the end of the caption in the text, you should be able to insert a
footnote just fine.

You cannot do it in the Caption dialog box, if that is what you are asking.
