I have a document that has multiple sections. I am trying to change the
margins (which are currently set at 1") and it won't let me change them at all. It's not my printer because I can change other documents just fine. I've never seen a document that won't allow me to change the margins. Can anything be done or do I need to recreate the document? Thanks! |

If you're getting an error message about incorrect settings, go to Format |
Columns, click on the One preset picture (even if one column is already selected), then click OK. Now try again. -- Suzanne S. I still receive the error message saying the columns or sections are too big.
Even if I try to change just one by .01, it will give me that error. I forgot to mention that this is happening in 2003 and 2007. "Suzanne S. Have you used the Format | Columns procedure in every section?
