Default Mail Merge Document

I have created a mail merge labels document. However along the top of the
page appears a heading row : Last Name First Name Position... and under that
a light grey bar running from the left margin to the right mergin. Both
interfere with the top row of each label sheet. How do I turn that off or
erase it?

See the article "Mailmerge Labels with Word XP" on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's
