I need to include a continuous section break at the end of a chapter to
change the footnote for the last page of a chapter. however, the footnote section or endnote section of the document spans multiple pages and I cannot enter a section break at the point to change only the last page of the chapter. any help would be appreciated. |

Instead of using a Section Break, use an If...then...Else field construction
{ IF { PAGE } = { NUMPAGES } "Text for last page footer" "text if any for footers on earlier pages" } You must use Ctrl+F9 for each pair of field delimiters and you use Alt+F9 to toggle off their display -- Hope this helps.
