Default document map

Is there anyway that I can set up my documents so that when they are opened
the document map will be compressed. (Showing only the highest level). My one
document is so big that I currently need to scrool down many pages of the
document map to find where I want to be in the document. I know I can
compress the document map once it is opened but I would like it to open in
that mode.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Harold

As far as I know, there is no way to do this either from the user interface
or from code.

Hope this helps.
