Default Printing letters with "marks" where to fold the letter to fit into an envelope

A few years ago I worked in an office that printed out letters that had
the teeniest tiniest marks on the them on the left hand side of the
paper that showed where to fold them, so that they fitted in a certain
size envelope, the address showed through the window etc etc

Does this function/tool still exist in the Windows XP version of Word?
If so, I'd be very grateful to find out how to set it up. It would
make mass mail out marginally less of a hassle if people knew where
exactly to fold the letter!

thanks, in advance!

Elaine

You'll need to add the marks as drawing lines. Display the Drawing toolbar,
click on the Line tool, and draw a line with Shift pressed to constrain the
line to the horizontal. Absolute size and position are not important. After
you've drawn the line, double-click on it to open the Format AutoShape
dialog, in which you can specify the line weight, length, and position
exactly. You can then copy/paste the line as needed. Note, however, that the
line likely won't print all the way to the edge, so be sure to either make
it long enough to show inside the printable area (check Print Preview) or
place it where all of it will print.
