First Number in Cross Referenced Number List Won't Update
Hello;
I have a numbered list of items that I cross-reference throughout my document (I.e., the text in the document makes reference to items in a numbered list by the number of the item.) When I update add or remove items from the list (like add a new #4 which makes the shifts the old #4 to #5) and then update the cross-references (Shift-A, F9), the reference numbers update as expected as long as I don't add a new #1. If I update the first item in the number list (I.e., item #1 becomes item #2), then the cross-references don't update Any ideas on how to fix this? Anyone else experience this problem? BTW, I'm using Word 2003 SP2. Sincerely, Todd M. Taylor |

If you press Return while the insertion point is in the start of an already
Ref-bookmarked paragraph, the new paragraph will be included in the bookmark. See the demo below Problem 2 at the following address for details and for information about how to repair and prevent the problem: http://www.thedoctools.com/index.php...erence_trouble -- Regards Lene Fredborg DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Todd M.
