Default auto save

I lost my flash drive and want to know if because I had the autosave feature
activated, can I access the last doc that I was last working on. Are the auto
saved files located in a place where I can access them?

If you closed the Word document without error, then Word automatically
deleted the autosave file. The .asd file will be retained, and shown
on the next Word startup, only if the program crashed.

There are ways to make Word save a real backup, but autosave isn't it.
See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/AutomaticSave.htm.
