How do we select two different tables [from one Access 2003 file] as data
sources in Mail Merge.

You cannot. What you must do is create a Select Query in access that
combines the necessary fields from the tables and then use that Query as the
data source.

Do read the tutorial before trying to use the mailmerge document included
with it as you must get the mail merge main document set up exactly as
required.

But if that is the case, you should also consider using an Access Report.
