Default recently used file list is not available in tools/options/general

i have a few office/word XP installations and this is the only computer with
this issue.

Cant figure it...

Default recently used file list is not available in tools/options/general

If TweakUI or a similar registry hack has been used to suppress the
recent documents list on the Windows Start menu, that will also affect
Word. The fix is to undo the TweakUI setting.

Default recently used file list is not available in tools/options/general

To add to Jay's comment, if you choose to remove MRUs following a system
scan with Ad-aware SE Personal, you are removing the recent documents.
Review each one and uncheck the ones that you want to retain.
