I have created custom screen tips using the hyperlink / bookmark solution.
However, I get the bold text underneath my screen tip "Cntrl + Click to
follow link". Is there anyway to create a custon screen tip without this
additional text?

any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Leslie,

Assuming this is for Word 2007, if you go to Word Options|Advanced Editing Options and uncheck the option 'Use Ctrl-Click to follow
hyperlink', that'll skewer the message you're now getting - but it'll be replaced with 'Click to follow link'. Not much better, I
know ...
