Do you know that you don't need any third-party software to do this task?
There is an inbuilt hidden program in Windows XP (if you have Windows XP)
called Private Character Editor. You can use this program to create your own
character set, no matter you need a P in oval or something else. You can draw
anything you like.

If you can see this picture "", this has been drawn using PCE in Windows
XP. You need to work out in it to understand the method that how to use
private characters in different programs. Once you draw and save a character
then you can use it in any program through Character Map.

To run PCE, click Start - Run - type eudcedit and press enter.

Although this character cannot be found in most fonts, it is Unicode
character 2117, in the Letterlike Symbols character subset. You can find it
in Arial Unicode MS and Lucida Sans Unicode.

Hi all.

In case it's of interest to anyone I created a dedicated circle-p copyright symbol font for Mac and PC containing the symbol in a variety of styles designed to match 26 common fonts.

It's $5 buy-Jon-a-drink-ware from http://www.artisan.pwp.blueyonder.co...dio/pfont.html

Thanks - Jon
