Find and replace in Word 2007
In older versions of Word, "Find" searched both text and footnotes in one
search. I am unable to restore this functionality in the 2007 beta. I have had to perform two separate searches, first in the document, and then in the footnotes. Has anybody found a solution? |

Find in Word 2007 finds things in both the main body of the document and in

Find and replace in Word 2007
Replace (in all versions of Word) searches all layers of the document in
turn (first then document body, then headers/footers, footnotes/endnotes, text boxes, etc.) but only if you Replace All. If you use Find Next, it will just wrap around in the document body; you then have to open the footnote/endnote pane, header/footer pane, etc., to search those stories. -- Suzanne S. Find and replace in Word 2007
Thanks; it turned out to be a problem just with the converted document I was
working on. "Suzanne S.
