Help Creating a Macro Automating an Envelope Template Using Word 2
I have to manually feed envelopes to my printer -- Brother HL-5140.
I created an Word-document-envelope template by opening a blank Word document and then formatted it as an envelope template by positioning the From Address and To Address fields on the page as they would appear on an envelope, depending on the size of the envelope. With this Word-document-envelope template, when I place envelopes (instead of papers) in the printer tray, the envelopes are printed automatically. How do I create a macro this Word-document-envelope template, such that I would be prompted to enter the dimensions of the envelope, when the macro is run? Current I have to manually manipulate the positions of the From Address and To Address fields when I change the envelope size. Id like to automate this task. Thanks in advance for your response. Incidentally, previously I accidentally post this question in the General Questions for Office section. |

Help Creating a Macro Automating an Envelope Template Using Word 2
Regardless of Word version, I would find it more satisfactory just to create
a template for each frequently used envelope size (which is what I've done). -- Suzanne S. Thanks for your response, Suzanne. I just thought that someone might have
created a macro to readily change the size of the envelope. "Suzanne S. Word's envelope wizard would do that, so there is really no point
re-inventing the wheel. http://www.gmayor.com/changing_envelope_layout.htm If you are using multiple envelope sizes then a series of templates as Suzanne suggested is the better approach. To get you started, download the #10 samples from my web site. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Ytestt wrote: Thanks for your response, Suzanne.
