I have written a book, and would like to change it from Word regular layout
to Book layout. is this possible in Word, or Publisher??? If so, how? [I am
new at this]...

Depends what you mean by "Book layout." There is a "Book fold" option in
Word 2002 and above, but you don't want to use that for anything other than
relatively short booklets. Please provide further info.
