How do I get bookmarks to work when sending document via email?
I have a word document that is lengthy so I have added some bookmarks to it
to give people links at the top to quickly jump to the content that is most relavant I want to send the document as an email and not as a seperate attachment to the email, but the bookmarks break when I send the document that way. Can this be fixed? |

How do I get bookmarks to work when sending document via email?
Off-the-cuff suggestion: Consider replacing the bookmarks with hyperlinks. I
just tested this by sending a file to myself and the links did not break. To do this, select the place you want the link to be, then select Insert, Hyperlink. Make sure you select Place in This Document. Should work OK. If you don't like the look of the links, you might reformat the links to look like the bookmarks you inserted earlier.
