Preparing a filler form for everyone to use in Word 2007 like in 2
Morning. I need help, in Word 2003 i prepared alot of forms that you can open
as read only, and have staff just "pop over" to the appropriate place for them to fill out information, ex: Name, Title, etc. with a small box to mark, etc.. How do we do this in Office 2007? Agime |

I'm assuming that you are referring to a protected form? In Word 2007, first
display the Developer tab (Office button | Word Options, Popular category: "Show Developer tab in the Ribbon"). Then, on the Developer tab, click Legacy Tools (in the Controls group) and choose the form fields (found under "Legacy Forms") that you want to insert. When you are done designing your form, click the Protect Document button. In the task pane that displays, select "Editing restrictions," and choose "Filling in forms" in the list box. Finally, click Yes, Start Enforcing Protection; you can type a password if you want to. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Agime" wrote in message ... Morning.
