Hiding but not deleting comments
Is there a way to look at the document but hiding the comments, rather than
deleting them, and so you could go back to show documents |

Hiding but not deleting comments
In the Tracking toolbar, switch from Final Showing Markup to Final. Same goes
with Word 2007, on the review tab under the tracking group switch from Final Showing Markup to Final. -- Chester C. Hiding but not deleting comments
If you're in Word 2002 or 2003, use Final view rather than Final Showing
Markup. Alternatively, if you want to see other markup but just not comments, uncheck Comments on the Show menu on the Review toolbar. -- Suzanne S.
