Word status bar greyed out
In a using Office Word 2003. The status bar at the bottom of the screen (the
bar that includes page, line, column, etc) is greyed out. I can see it, but it is greyed out. How do I make it active? |

Do you have a document open? Much of the information will be grey until
there is something meaningful to go there. That is, the page info may be grey until there is more than one page. The buttons REC TRK EXT OVR are grey until you activate them by double-clicking on them. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
