Default Reading Layout Word attachments in Outlook

Hi There,

I am having problems with the fact that every time I open a word
attachment in Outlook it goes to Reading Layout. I can uncehck the box
as you have suggested but when I reboot the pc the same thing happens.
It is not a useful feature and I wish it to be disabled permanently.
lease can you advise?

Best regards,

Chas.

If your Options settings are not being saved, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm for instructions to
rebuild the appropriate Registry key. That assumes the setting is not being
reset by a logon script if you're on a network.
