Default coverting jpg to symbol

I want to use a jpg as bulleted symbol. Importing the jpg is impossible
because of the wrong format? The frmat has to be a *.pcz extension.
How can I convert this jpg?

I think you mean .pcx not .pcz.

Any graphics program should be able to do it.
Irfanview can and it's free:
http://www.irfanview.net/

If you have the old Microsoft Photo Editor on your system you can use that
to convert .jpg to .pcx too.

Usually .bmp is also acceptable for such applications. If it is, you can
convert a .jpg to .bmp using Microsoft Paint.

II tried converting by Irfan View into a bmp, pcn, or gif extension.
But none of them can I import with the picture option into the list of
bullets and symbols.
What am I doing wrong?

You can use a small jpg as a bullet character - eg in Word 2003 Format
Bullets & Numbers Bulleted select one of the items to customize
Picture Import Select your image and click OK.
