restore/recover document
I cut and pasted a document to an email. When I went to reopen the document
later, it was blank. How do I restore/recover to document? |

Unless you have a backup copy, there is nothing you can do, unfortunately.
For future reference, note that for files that have been saved, but not closed and re-opened, you can usually restore the original contents by using Undo (Ctrl+Z) repeatedly. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "doctorcross" wrote in message ... Of course! Good point. Maybe the OP can retrieve the text that was lost, at
least. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Dan Freeman" wrote in message ... Is there a copy of that email in the sent items folder? doctorcross wrote: I cut and pasted a document to an email. When I went to reopen the document later, it was blank. How do I restore/recover to document? |

It's worth a shot. But I'm prepared to be asked "what's a sent items
folder?" g Dan Stefan Blom wrote: Of course! Good point. Maybe the OP can retrieve the text that was lost, at least. "Dan Freeman" wrote in message ... If you have not cut and paste anything after that, you can still paste it to
a new document or copy it off your email and past it to a new document Peace "doctorcross" wrote: I cut and pasted a document to an email. When I went to reopen the document later, it was blank. How do I restore/recover to document? |

Go to edit, click on office clipboard - last 24 items that you cut or copied
will be listed - click on the one that you want to recover and save it. Peace "doctorcross" wrote: I cut and pasted a document to an email. When I went to reopen the document later, it was blank. How do I restore/recover to document? |
