I downloaded a 4 column, 6 page newsletter template and only need five of
the pages. How can I get rid of the last page without losing the formatting on the other five pages? |

Select everything on the last page _except the last paragraph mark_ and press Delete. This is easier to do if you use the ¶ button to display nonprinting characters, so you can see and avoid the last paragraph mark. That paragraph mark contains the information about margins, headers/footers, number of columns, and various other things for the entire document (or at least for the last section, if you have more than one section). -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
