what is the difference between formatting and editing your work? does anyone

Editing would be changing the actual text. Formatting would be changing the

I don't know that this is technical or absolute, but may be helpful.
Editing generally refers to revising content in some way (spell check, change wording, rearrange paragraphs or items in a list, add new content, delete content, etc.). Formatting pertains primarily to: A) Character Formatting - changing font, font size, bold, italic, etc. B) Paragraph Formatting - Tabs, indents, line/para spacing, borders & shading etc. HTH |:) "l_taylor1981" wrote: what is the difference between formatting and editing your work? does anyone know? |
