Single-spaced Footnotes
Hello,
For some reason, some of my footnotes are appearing double-spaced while others are single-spaced. I would like them all to be in a single-spaced format, but can't figure out how to set this up. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Nikki |

You can change the formatting of any footnote in the same way as text in the
body of your document. For instance you can position your cursor in the footnote with double spacing and alter it by Format/Paragraph/Line Spacing and choosing single spacing. You can also use other means of altering it such as it by applying the Footnote Style that you have for the document or by copying the paragraph endmark of the formatted paragraph you like and pasting that into the other. Press Ctrl+Q to return any footnote to the default Footnote Text style.
Note, however, that if it is single-line footnotes that appear double-spaced, the likely reason is that some Space Before/After has been applied to either the Footnote Text style or the individual notes. -- Suzanne S. Thanks so much to both of you for your help -- returning to the default
settings solved the problem. "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Press Ctrl+Q to return any footnote to the default Footnote Text style.
