header section disabled
I have a document with sections set with different first page and even and
odd pages. By about the 7th section, when I try to edit the even page header, which has "same as previous" turned off, edits still repeat in section 6's even page header. One thing to note is that when I edit section 7's even page header, the header appears disabled, in that the cursor does not appear, kind of like when you try to edit a table row heading on the 2nd page. Any ideas? Thank you in advance. |

Document corruption often shows up first in the document header/footer, so
you might want to treat the document as corrupt. If you have Word 2003, try Open and Repair. For other versions, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/CorruptDoc.htm -- Suzanne S.
