How do you remove an "automatic line" in Word 2007?
Hi.
In my document, I originally had some text with some automatic lines above/below it (the kind that are automatically generated when you hit the dash key a few times and a long line magically appears). The problem now is that an automatic lines appears every time I hit a carriage return. It's really annoying and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I've tried highlighting the text, hitting one of the general style buttons, but the line inevitably returns at some point. What am i missing? Thanks. |

BTW, when I try to "remove" the line by hitting a style button, it either
disappears only to reappear later, or it simply moves "up" the page. Please help. I am losing my mind. Thanks. "No Spam Please" wrote: Hi. I have struggled with this problem for weeks. FYI - I am using MS Office for Mac 2008 but the instructions for Word 2003 worked a treat. Many Thanks. Jak |
