How are you specifying the hyperlink path?
If you type in the full path in the Hyperlink dialog box, it shouldn't change. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Susanne Mohn" wrote in message news hallo, when I insert a hyperlink to a file, word uses a relative path : \\\file.docx. i wan't have an absolute path: h:\ordner1\file.docx - not a relative path, so that the path is active, when i move the the file.
